If we get early snow then some rain/ ice to freeze the snow base down. Then give me two snows a week of 2/3 inches will be good enough. I will take more but that even will work.

I have been to Togowtee multiple times and would highly recommend it. They have GREAT rentals and their guide staff is OUTSTANDING! They have great rooms in the lodge or the cabins. If you go once, you'll go again and again...you were warned :)

Sledding in Yellowstone NP must be "permitted" by the National Park Service. Only 4-strokes allowed and must be guided with speed limits (I think 45mph). There are resorts w/ rentals and will set everything up. Quick google search.
Or
To go on your own (or hire a guide/sled if you want) you can check out;
Togwoteelodge.com
Brookslake.com
Both located outside the National Park.
I've never been there but was interested a couple years ago and did alittle research just as you are now.
Hope this helps?

Just looking for some peoples suggestions on snowmobiling in Yellowstone or Montana. Looking for names of rental places you used and places you rode to and what you would or wouldn't do again. This Silvercliff site and blog is the best, keep it up.
