Greetings and welcome!

It is a nice crisp day out today with temps getting into the low to mid-20s. We could go into the single digits for lows tonight if the skys clear up a little more.

There is an inch or so of snow in the NWS forecast for tomorrow, along with temps in the mid to upper 20s. Sunday and Monday look a little warmer with us seeing low to mid-30s.

The on again off again storm for next week is off again, and again shown not making the IL/WI state line.

There is not much hope of riding this weekend, either around here or in the UP. Any snow that we have has been rendered into an ice base, and that is hit and miss. Sunny spots and treated roads are bare, driveways and trails with packed snow are solid ice.

It was a very windy day yesterday with peak gusts probably around 40. We lost power last night about 10:15 and it came back on at 2. It is much calmer today.

We have an event this weekend. The Bear Point Sno-Cruisers is having a Christmas Social after the 9:30am meeting at Bear Point Yacht Club. There will be sloppy Joes & chips, and members can bring a dish to pass. You can also sign up for the club, get BPSC gear, and get raffle tickets there too.

That is about news for today. Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
