Greetings and welcome!

It is one very windy day today. The temperatures have dropped and now the wind is blowing 20-30 and gusting over 50. It is just roaring in the trees.

You could hear it last night when the front came through. It sounded like the roar of a giant wave coming at you. It was a good almost impact gust when it hit.

The storm for Sunday and Monday is still on track. Both the GFS and NAM agree on the rain snow line being a little south of Green Bay. One model is showing us getting on the order of 6-9, the other shows it possibly going 12. The timing varies too, with one bringing it in for Sunday and the other one about 8 hours behind.

According to the NWS advisories it is a possible 6-12 storm, and with strong winds, it could bring whiteout conditions Sunday night.

There is a similar storm showing up on the GFS for next weekend. There are no more big thaws shown in the 16 day reach of it.

Fisher’s Camp, Parkway Inn, Peshtigo River Resort, and Pine Acres Resort.

It is unfortunate that we had such a bad week for trails, there are a lot of good events this weekend. Normally this weekend is a halfway decent bet for having trails. You can still go by car..

Time for me to run along. Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
