We got about 1″ of heavy, slushy heart attack snow, with about 2-3″ of pow on top here in north-east Crook County in FIB-land (remember, “FIB” = Friendly Illinois Brothers)…. It has now frozen pretty solid where the slush was exposed, but yesterday, i went XC skiing at a local park and it was slush and muck under the pow…. Sucks when that stuff sticks to the skis! Will try to go out again later today—conditions should be better. As a side note, i’m glad i cleaned up most of the last of the leaves on Sunday before the big rain and snow arrived!

    Happy trails and THINK SNOW!!!!

PS–I hope El Nino doesn’t keep its promise and wreck the rest of the Winter…
