Greetings and welcome!
We had about an inch of snow early Sunday. With a warm week ahead peaking at close to 50 I don’t expect it to survive until the weekend. It is adding up on untreated roads though.
When I went past Waubee Lake on Saturday it was frozen all of the way across. It wasn’t anything that I would walk on without proper gear, but it did freeze across. Some spots along the shore had thicker ice.
There is a storm showing up in the longer term GFS forecast model. The latest model run has the low tracking over Chicago when we want it between Milwaukee and Green Bay. As shown now it would be a light snow event if that. Previous runs were a little more promising.
Even though the days have been in the 30s the overnight temperatures have been making progress freezing stuff up.
That’s it for today. Have a good week and thank you for visiting!
