Greetings and welcome!
It looks like the storm has passed and we were not in the favored area after all. From what I can tell we missed by 10-20 miles. Between radar and Facebook reports it sounds like the heavier snow started about Hwy X and went down to about Hwy 64 or a little farther south.
Near the north side of Caldron Falls Flowage it would be stretching it to say that it was more than an inch. Down by Uncle Mike’s (The old Tommy’s Corner Pub on Deer Lake Rd & Hwy X) they reported it really coming down. A friend in Crooked Lake reported almost 5″. Someone else said that Hwy W was pretty messy between there and Crivitz.
The radar showed the heaviest snow between Crivitz and about Hwy 64.
As predicted it was a very narrow band of heavier snow. To the forecaster’s credit they only missed by 10-20 miles. In the grand scheme of things that is pretty darned good.
Have a good PI day and thank you for visiting!
