The first wave of the storm only brought rain here in Silver Cliff and in Wausaukee. Reports had accumulating snow in Wabeno, Laona and east along Hwy 8 that was enough to make highways messy.
Looking at the radar there is an area of light snow heading this way that could bring white ground here tonight.
Get it while you can. Looking at the medium range guidance I am seeing about 10 days of above normal temperatures and nothing for precip. Things get a little more interesting after that with a promising storm for about the 14th or 15th.
I don’t expect it to stay with a high/low temperature of 40/20 all winter. Right now my guess is that the pendulum will swing the other way later in the month.
