Greetings and welcome!
We had snow from late yesterday afternoon until now (11am) that added up to at least 4″. It is still snowing lightly. I haven’t been outside to clean it up yet so the 4″ is just a quick front porch measurement. Looking out into the driveway I would bet that there is close to 5″.
There is more snow on the way for Friday afternoon-Friday night that could bring another 2-4″. After that Saturday looks pretty nice with a high temperature in the low 20s. The snow is on the leading edge of some arctic air for Sunday and Monday, when we are expecting a high of about 10F. That actually seems a little generous looking at my upper air temperature maps.
That cold air and high pressure from the north might actually have us go more than 3 days without snow. That would be a nice change. We have enough snow. The Dungood folks have a picture on their FaceBook page showing 3 1/2 feet of snow down. The sun will eventually get strong enough to make road trails and sunny spots bare, but I have a hunch that we will be riding on this snow for quite a while.
Have a good Wednesday and thank you for visiting!
