Greetings and Merry Christmas!
My prediction of us being able to ride between Christmas and New Years didn’t turn out so good. We did have another inch or two of snow a couple of days ago but it still has us at about 3″ on the ground. The lakes have a nice start but are still very early ice and cars and trucks that go out will likely also go in. Not good.
There are a lot of places in the UP that look great with groomed trails and ample snow.
Around here it isn’t looking so good. The forecast for the next week has a lot of rain and 40+ degree temperatures. Later in the 16 day GFS forecast model there is colder weather and a couple of storm possible. For now we wait.
I really wish that I had something to offer on Christmas that is less of a turd in the stocking but here we are.
Here is our Christmas tree from a few years ago. I may have opened some of my presents early..
