Greetings and welcome!

I have one word for today.. devastating.

The storm brought a lot of rain, and the high of 48 today wasn’t in our favor. Right now all of the rain has made the places with a base into an insanely slippery block of ice. Marginal spots went away. The neighbor’s yard that has a low spot on the trail has flooding way up into his yard. The puddles on the road are huge.

Tomorrow this will all freeze up.

The second storm looks like a bust. What has my attention right now is the back of the first one. We are in the eye of the storm, and it looks like there is more cold air mixing into the back of the storm than expected. I am up for a pleasant surprise or two.

The Iron Snowshoe has closed their trails, and they were wise to do so.

Here is a screen cap of the radar at 7:30pm tonight. If only this were snow..

For now are are all done.

Have a good night and thank you for visiting!!
