We have a little snow possible tonight but it is not expected to add up to much, maybe 1/2″. The ground is for the most part bare so at least it will cover a little of the ugly. Thursday we have a clipper coming. I have seen some excited forecasts like this one at about 10pm last night.
It would be a robust clipper system to get 6 and 7 inches. The morning crew dialed it back a little and that looks a little more reasonable.
My latest check of the forecast models at 3pm has us maybe getting 1-3 or 2-4. I’d bet on the 1-3.
The GFS shows us getting a little snow for Christmas eve. The Euro doesn’t have that storm within 200 miles of us. They do agree on a storm for the 28th, and that it will be rain. Eleven days out? Meh.
Anyway, we have a clipper coming about Thursday and my take on it is that it will be a typical clipper with 1-3 or 2-4 followed by a cold snap.
