We have almost 3″ of super fine powder down. This is super puffy stuff that might be just as easily cleared with a leaf blower or strong wind as a plow or snowblower.
It has been snowing very lightly since mid-day. There is some sort of persistent dry slot just to our east and that has limited totals somewhat. It is expected to continue snowing overnight so totals could go up.
This was no barn burner storm, but that’s ok. We still have two weeks until trails can open. I have a saying.. A nickel isn’t much but 20 nickels makes a dollar. A little at a time saving up is ok. The medium range forecast does not have any 32+ temperatures, and the shortest day of the year is like 3 weeks away, so it isn’t going anywhere.
