Greetings and welcome!
Everyone is worried about the upcoming warm weather and watching forecasts closely. I haven’t seen anything in Marinette Co yet. Langlade and Oconto Co have decided (For now) that the trails would close in those two counties at 6am Sunday morning.
The theory that I have is that it is just too big of a weekend for events to close on Saturday. Here is a screen cap of a Facebook page about the Pickerel Jump In..
Closer to home we have one of the biggest events of the season with the High Falls Fish-O-Rama. This is the big fundraiser for the Twin Bridge Ski Team. Thousands show up for that.

Right now it is everyone’s hope that the weatherman has it wrong and we will be able to pull off a fantastic weekend for events before things warm up too much. The big decider is how warm that it gets Friday. Today we are only getting into the low 30s with sun. Friday they are calling for 44 and sunny and Saturday 41 and sunny.
We have a big glorious ice base. Everyone’s hope is that it will last the weekend. I will check back with any updates that I get. As always I will tell you that if the trails get rough hit those event up anyway by car. You can still support the fundraising events and only one guy in the crew needs to stay sober.
