Greetings and welcome!
We have had a couple of days of near average temperatures. Yesterday it got up to 33 and today we hit 27. At the moment (Thursday night at almost midnight) we are down to 0.7ºF.
Tomorrow morning we are expecting a clipper to drop about an inch of snow between about 6am and noon. The temp will get up to 30 or so, and that will be the last time that we see that for a week or more. The big cold wave is on the doorstep and it looks like it will last 7-10 days, and after that it’s a question mark.
Bring the cold weather gear for the weekend. We are expecting highs in the teens and single digit low temperatures.
The trails that I saw yesterday along Hwy C all looked good.
I have a couple of more events for the weekend, and below those are the ones that I told you about on our last visit.
Newtfest on Little Newton Lake and at Lakeside Bar–
This Saturday the 28th from noon to 4:00 pm. Stop out to Newfest 7.0 on Little Newton Lake. Lakeside Bar and Grill
Side x Side, 4 wheeler fun, Music, Bonfire, 50/50 raffle should be well over $2,500 to the winner. Have some Boyah and a all around good time. Each year we try to give all proceeds to places around the area. This year all proceeds from Newtfest 7.0 will go to Camp Daniel. Swing on out and have a great time, help the cause.

The party doesn’t end there though. The Lakeside Bar and Grill will be having a DJ Paris Nights and we will have even more raffles.
