Greetings and welcome!
10:30am
It snowed furiously last night and this morning I found 8+ inches of very wet heavy snow. This stuff is going to be no fun to move at all. If we had this during the season we would be very happy about it, as it would pack into a fabulous base.
It would be great to have a bonus lap on the trails but unfortunately both Marinette and Oconto counties have posts on Facebook saying that it won’t happen. The ground lost its frost and there are some huge meltwater puddles.
I do have to go battle with the heavy stuff because this is only round one. The TV this morning said that there is a lot more on the way. Here are some graphics from channels 2 and 11 out of Green Bay.
Both graphics have us right in the bull’s eye with 24″. I guess that would indeed qualify as big snow.
The wet heavy snow is sticking to the trees. It is very pretty but could cause problems once the wind picks up.
I was half asleep when I went out to measure and forgot my camera. I will try to get some pix later.
