Friday April 4th 2014-Updated 7pm

Greetings and welcome!

7pm..

Encore Encore!

Ok so we are NOT done. My bad.

Jeff says that there is still base up north, and that the trails are still open. I am not sure about them, but I have 6″ of heavy snow here in Silver Cliff @ Hwy C &  F. I would expect that they had a little less freezing rain and  a little more snow, so it would surprise me if they didn’t have 040414ga couple of more inches. It would not be out of the question to throw one on a trailer tomorrow and heading up toward Hwy 8. Riding Saturday and 60 next Wednesday, and rafting the next Saturday. Wow.  That is an interesting  week.

Here are some pictures from about 6:30. The snow is about done now, with another inch possible before it clears out.

Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!

4-4-14 Morning Update-

I want to thank you all for a great snowmobiling season. You made it a great time at the Rapids on weekends, and your generosity with donations was wonderful. I can’t thank you all enough.

It was the season of all seasons for trail conditions. If it had been a little warmer it would have been a lot better for people to enjoy the trails that belonged on a magazine cover, but when we did brave the cold we were well rewarded.

Unfortunately the fat lady has sang, and it is time to store them away for another summer.

I have taken a few days off from blogging, but it looks like I am back at it, this time at my summer home over at Northern Destinations. Here is a link to the other page. http://northerndestinations.com/scindex

Thank you all again for a fantastic snowmobiling season, for your good times, and for your support and generosity.

Have a good summer and thank you for visiting!
