Hey Ray- Buy a calendar eh?
Anyway.. almost 2″ down so far. The first of of was fine powder, but the flakes are getting a little bigger now. Looks like a couple more hours of snow on radar, so we should see 2-4″.
I was surprised by the powdery snow. My car said that it was 36ºF when I left Wausaukee at 5:30.
Greetings and welcome!
It was a fairly warm day Thursday. Most of the area was in the upper 30s or low 40s.We lost some snow, but it seemed like it packed down more than anything. There is enough of yesterday’s 3″ left that I still need to plow the driveway. I figure that what survived will turn into a sturdy base.
We have 2-3″ of snow coming this afternoon and evening. It will be fairly warm out, so it will likely be bigger flakes and heavier snow. That should help the cause nicely.
Saturday looks warm with mid-30s with mixed sun & clouds.
Sunday is expected to start out the same, and then we should see a little snow followed by a pretty good rain Sunday night into Monday. That will probably get ugly with frozen roads Sunday and Sunday night, but the rain should add nicely to the trail base and road trails if it doesn’t get too carried away.
The new camera seems really nice. I look forward to getting some pix on here again and I am sure that you do too.
Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
