Greetings and welcome!
We are watching a storm for late weekend into Monday and a little light snow over the weekend to hopefully get us back onto the trails before spring finishes them off.
There is pretty good agreement among the models that we could see off and on light snow over the weekend. They part company on the storm for Sunday night and Monday.
The NAM and the TV are on board with a good storm path and heavy snow north of Green Bay. The QPF shows us in the 3-6 or 6-9 inch bands.
The GFS has been sticking to a scenario where the storm would stay south, and would bring 3″ or less north of Green Bay. The HPC is on board with this scenario too, and it looks like John Dee is as well.
Personally I am expecting the second one. We have a long history of getting missed this winter, including last week when we were as close as 2000′ away from a major storm but couldn’t play. While I am up for a nice surprise, I’m not expecting much out of the Sunday Monday storm.
Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
