Greetings and welcome!
It looks like we got another 1.5-2″ overnight last night and it is snowing lightly.
The snow yesterday was hit and miss. When I woke up we had about an inch. In Wausaukee it was two. It didn’t snow much more here or in Wausaukee yesterday, but the word on the street is that Goodman and areas along Hwy 8 picked up a little extra, and Hwy 8 was getting slick again.
The trails that I saw along the road looked fantastic with a pure white blanket and some fresh grooming. There were some riders out, but only a pair here and there.
I am expecting a lot of people to be hitting the trails this weekend, so be ready for some company. There is ample fresh snow, reasonable temperatures, and no distractions like Packer games or holidays. This will probably be the first really big weekend of the winter.
I will be at Rapids Resort Saturday, but not until after (at least) 3pm. I have to work my day job this Saturday and won’t be at the bar at noon as usual.
If you didn’t see Jeff’s comment yesterday, here it is..
I don’t have any more to add, so have fun and be safe, and have a great weekend!
