Greetings and welcome!
This afternoon I rode from near Thornton’s to the BP and back, then down to Fisher’s Camp, through the woods to near Rapids and Rustic, and then back along the flowage to Thornton’s and then home. It was a quick 15 mile ride around the neighborhood.
The trail to the BP was groomed Saturday night, and was still mostly really nice. The trail through the woods between Thorntons and Rapids was freshly groomed and I was maybe the third snowmobile down it. What a nice ride. There were a couple of snirty and thin spots, mostly because of terrain. Other than those couple of spots it was a magazine cover ride. That inch of snow here and there really paid off.
I only did one phone pic on my ride. I darkened it up a couple of steps so that you can see the trail detail better.
On the way home I was laughing at myself.. You idiot.. you finally get out and ride and the only trail picture that you did was at a road crossing? LOL.
Anyway.. I can only tell you about the 15 or so miles that I rode, but the trails were really nice and I had a blast. We have a cold week ahead and some clipper snow for Thursday so it should all still be here for weekend riders.
