We have had several rounds of flurries in the past few days. It was enough to put a little white on everything but that’s about it. I can still see grass through the snow.
There is a clipper coming tomorrow that could give us 1-3″. I’d bet on the lower end of that, the forecast models have it racing through here in about four hours.
Speaking of forecast models they were getting kind of exciting yesterday. Both the GFS and Euro models were showing a couple of really big storms on the 7th and 9th of February. It is pretty typical of the GFS to have a storm 14 days out that never comes because it is a LaNina or ElNino year.
This scenario caught my attention because the two storms showed up for a few days in a row, and two different models said the same thing. Like Charlie Brown I eagerly checked the forecast models this morning and sure enough Lucy had grabbed the football away again.

That takes us almost to St Valentine’s Day with no snow. Not good. We picked up an hour of daylight in January and pretty soon the sun will be a factor. We really could use a couple of big dumps of snow right now.
Those of you that can snow dance please do so. I won’t be joining you. The last time that I tried they called the EMTs thinking I was having some sort of fit or episode, and I promised not to do it anymore.
