Greetings and welcome!
The weather is definitely not smiling on us this week. Yesterday we got up to 54 and we had full sun. Today we are up to 44 again with full sun. Tomorrow we are looking at 44 with a chance of rain.
Tuesday night into Wednesday we are looking at low temperatures close to 40 with a lot of rain (1/2-3/4″) and a high of 42 with rain for Wednesday.
Right now the forecast models have the Thursday storm a lot weaker and moving too far east and south to rescue us from all of the warm weather and rain.
Not good.
When I went out on the snowmobiles yesterday early afternoon it was already too late. There were mud patches opening up and big puddles. We made it two miles and turned around and headed for home. There was a lot of good base left, and I thought that it would be better if we didn’t grind it into mud while it was soft. The trails remain open but I’m not sure why.
We have a lot of events coming up this weekend..
Near North Trail Riders– Hello all! We’ll be having a Meat and More Raffle on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at Firelane Bar and Grill from 1:00pm to 4:00pm!
All funds raised go directly into the trails and equipment. We’ll be doing a 50/50 raffle halfway through and we’ll update with more meat-information very soon!

It sure would be nice if our 100% chance of rain Tuesday night and 20% chance of snow Thursday traded odds.
