Greetings and welcome!
The storm yesterday was a total bust for us. Most of the storm missed us, what did come was mostly rain. There were a couple of brief snow showers later in the day but they did not amount to anything. The rain soaked into the remaining snow and make it a brick of ice, but there isn’t enough trail base left to get excited about it. Behind the storm the temperatures dropped to the low teens overnight and we had a high of 25 today with some wind.
The good news is Vilas and Oneida Counties had winter storm warnings with 6-12 expected. I don’t know how that turned out, but the radar looked good and I did see a Facebook post that said that they had a foot of snow in Vilas Co. If you are looking for one last riding opportunity maybe look in that direction.
This weekend Chute Pond Snowmobile Club is having an antique snowmobile weekend this coming Friday and Saturday.

We have 8 or 9 days of warm weather ahead with plenty of sun and temps in the upper 30s and low 40s. That doesn’t leave much hope for an encore weekend on the trails. I sure wish that I had a different story to tell.
That is it from here. Have a good one and thank you for visiting!
