I was back at Rapids Resort this afternoon bartending and catching pictures of groups of snowmobilers. Here is one group that stopped by today along with their support crew who followed along by car. Thank you all very much, you made it a fun afternoon!

There is a chance at some little light snow abut Thursday of this week. Then it looks like a warm weekend followed by a warmer week next week. The NWS is showing mid and upper 20s for next weekend, and low 30s for the beginning of the week starting on Jan 6th. The GFS is showing a little more dramatic warming than that, but I wouldn’t believe in it on a storm 7-10 days out, so the same applies to a potential warm spell.
There was a storm showing up for about Jan 10th, but the GFS is bouncing around on how it wants to portray it. It looked good this morning, and not so good this afternoon. At 11 days out it is just something to keep an eye on.
