Monday November 30th, 2015

Greetings and welcome!

Monday night 9:45pm

The first wave of the storm is here and it is rain. There is a little snow mixing in to the south and west, so it could switch over, but most of what is falling now is green, yellow, and orange on the radar rain. It is expected to switch at some point, and snowfall estimates vary from 1.5-2.4″.

We had a pretty nice weekend last weekend. It got cold enough at night, but the days were around 40. This week and next weekend look about the same with the exception of tonight/tomorrow’s storm. Look for lows in the mid-20s and high temps close to 40 into next week.

El Nino.

An idle thought the other day.. Even though we are having the warm days, the cold is winning a little. Right now with our short days we are spending a lot more time in the dark than in sunlight, and that will drop as the winter solstice comes on the 22nd. It might get into the upper 30s for 6 or 7 hours, but it will be below freezing for twice that long.

This Saturday is the annual New Low Buck Riders Vintage Snowmobile show and Swap at the Gateway Bar in Crivitz. From their web site at newlowbuckvintageriders.com..

It’s almost SHOW TIME! The 12th Annual NEWLBVR Show & Swap is just a couple weeks away. Hope to see you in Crivitz at the Gateway Bar & Grill on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
