Greetings and welcome!
We had a little snow overnight, maybe 1/2″. We will need it with the NWS forecast of low 40s today. There is a chance of freezing rain tonight and early Sunday that could turn into snow. Sunday is expected to be in the mid-30s.
Last night I saw and heard more than a few riders around and there were pretty many trailers being towed north. It will probably be a busy weekend.
Crivitz looked a lot better yesterday when I saw it. Most of the grass was gone. I am not sure if that will last the day, but it looked passable yesterday.
The big Tuesday and Wednesday storm is still on track. The forecasters that got a little carried away yesterday came back to earth and as of last night were forecasting a 4-8 storm.
The latest GFS has the storm tracking perfectly to nail our area, and as shown would be an 8+ inch storm. Based on where the rain/snow line would be it looks like a powdery snow, which combined with high winds could bring whiteout and near blizzard conditions. It is still three days out, so nothing is a sure thing yet, but it is looking good for a strong storm.
Gotta run. Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!
