We had some cold weather this week. One day went with a 10º high and a -9º low temp. That should help freeze stuff up.
Last night’s storm was a bust. At the peak I had almost an inch of snow. Today it got up to 35 and there is an ongoing drizzle/mist/dense fog thing going on. There is only patchy snow out in the yard.
The rain has made driveways and untreated roads very slippery with rain on top of ice. The county roads were a little better but the salt was washing off in spots and making it icy.
There isn’t a lot of snow in the forecast. Mid-week we could see a clipper and a little snow. The only big storm in the 16 day outlook is on about the 29th. That far out it is just a nice cartoon.
I looks like tomorrow will get up to 38. After that we go back to more normal December temperatures. That’s good. Freeze them lakes and swamps!
