Greetings and welcome!

The snow removal chores continued yesterday. We had a sunny and 35 degree day. That settled the snow a lot and made it a lot harder to move. I have so much more to do that it doesn’t seem like it is possible to finish. The snow is heavy and plentiful and even a short path takes a long time to clear.

I was a little surprised by how strong the sun was. There was water dripping off of the house and camper. The county road was bare and mostly dry in sunny spots, and snow and ice covered in shady spots. When I cleared the windshield on the car the remaining little bit of snow immediately melted and quickly evaporated. For me that was a warning and a half.

We have a chance of an inch of snow total between today and tonight. After that I do not see much in the way of snow for at least the next week.

I only saw one trail yesterday, the one right by Kosir’s, it looked great. Get it while you can.

Have a good Thursday and thank you for visiting!
