Greetings and welcome!
The after storm winds have put a bit of a nip in the day. I walked outside, heard the wind roaring in the trees, and had a cold blast hit me. It was at that point that I decided to catch up on my inside work and leave the outside stuff go in favor of a better day.
It doesn’t look like I will have to wait long. Tomorrow we could see highs in the mid to upper 20s and about half of the wind. Saturday and Sunday’s forecast temperatures have been revised upward. Right now my best guess fo a hi/low is 30/18 for Friday night-Sunday. That is some pretty comfortable riding.
It is a sunny day but I don’t expect to see much sun erosion to the trails. It is cold and windy, so damage will be limited. After today we are expecting cloudy skies and a little light snow over the weekend. The snow isn’t expected to amount to much. It should start up later Friday and be off and on flurries over the weekend.
From what I have seen there has been some weekday traffic on the trails this week but not a lot. Conditions should remain good or very good for the weekend.
Have a good Thursday and thank you for visiting!
