Real snow!

Not just that funny stuff that only shows up on radar!

It is a fine light snow that is falling, but at least it is making the last 2000′ of the trip to the ground.

Noon-

It is still only snowing on radar. Not a single flake has fallen to the ground. The live radar on the noon news shows a heavier band right over us, but here on the ground there is nothing coming down.

7:30am

It is snowing on radar but not on the ground again. After several hours of snow showing up on radar there is still none in the air or on the ground. Even the heavier bands have not produced snow.

The NWS has downgraded expectations from 3-4″ to 1-2. At the moment that looks generous.
