Greetings and welcome!

The snow survived the day here in Silver Cliff, as well as along Highway 8 through Pembine, Goodman, and Dunbar. It is only an inch or a little less, mostly on grassy areas, but it is still there tonight.

Wausaukee and Crivitz didn’t see as much as we did, and they lost most of it during the day. When I was along Hwy 8 early afternoon, there was still a blanket of white, and the trees were flocked too. When I got home tonight there was still a decent first covering on the lawn. The front steps were icy, but not the cement under them. That will probably change when we see low 20s tonight.

The only challenge that I see to the snow comes this weekend when it goes into the upper 30s or low 40s.

There was snow in the UP today and tonight as the big cold winds blew across the lake. The radar that I saw suggested that the band of snow was favoring areas from about Baraga to Munising and maybe a little farther east, and it blew south as far as the state line and beyond. The radar says there is a little blob headed right for us now.

There are also chances of snow for Friday and Monday, and maybe a little over the weekend too. The Friday storm could bring 1-2. The Monday storm has the weather guy talking about heavy snow. Is it possible that I will get a first victory lap around the yard already next week? It is starting to look like it could happen.

Time for sleep. Have a good night and thank you for visiting!
