Greetings and welcome!

The snow showers this morning added up to another 2-3 puffy inches.By sunset it had consolidated a little as our low 30s made for a melty sort of day. Wabeno only peaked at 28. Athelstane Weather said 37, the bank in Wausaukee said 34.

The warm day consolidated the new snow a little, and trails on the way home showed minor staining from passing riders. Other than that they looked great. The 5-6″ from the past couple of days was puffy, but it is snow. It is enough that I am on my way out to plow and run the snowblower.

The forecast for late week still looks unfavorable. The latest from the NWS is mid-40s and rain Friday, mid-30s Friday night with rain or a mix, and low 40s Saturday. This would be a good time for the forecast models to miss a little.
