Greetings from the great white north!

111114bThe storm didn’t last long In Wausaukee, and was pretty well done by lunch. I probably cleaned about 2″ off of my car in the morning and again at lunch and only had a little on it after work. Here at home we clearly had a couple of inches more.

I would call my grand total here in Silver Cliff about 5-6″. A guy that came into work said that he had about a foot near the Florence Co Line, and saw about 9″ down by Highway 8. Another source reported 16″ in Iron River. The top number among my sources came from Lac du Flambeau, where she reported 23.7″ (Thanks!), with a chance of crossing 30 with expected lake effect snow.

Now comes the cold. The normal high is 39 and 25, and we will be lucky to see 25 most days over the next week. The NWS has us for a low of 9 Friday night.

Have a good night and thank you for visiting!
