Just plowed the main driveway. There has to be a solid 3″ down. The 35ยบ day should help to consolidate it and hopefully get it to stick to the ice.
There is snow possible again Saturday. The GFS forecast model isn’t very impressed with it, but the NAM model shows light snow from Saturday noon until the early hours Sunday morning. If that works out as shown it might only be 1-3″ but it will add to the winter wonderland thing and make the trails a little fresher Sunday.
In the meantime we are looking at a very cold week.

The TV weatherman was spot-on when he predicted 2.4″ for our area. My back step measurements were a consistent 2.5″. It won’t be a lot to fill in bumps or bare roads, but it will help the lack of free snow on the frozen base tremendously.
