Greetings and welcome!
We had a dusting of snow Monday that was enough to cover the roads, but just barely
This morning I woke up to about 2″ of the stuff. it has been showing off and on most of the day bringing my total close to 3″. The radar suggests another inch is possible. This is the first real snow of the year.
My deck as of 3pm..
Later tonight and tomorrow the NWS is calling for wind gusts close to 40mph. With the light fluffy snow that might make for some difficult travel.
The UP has been getting lake effect snow with the recent cold weather. Some places got as much as three feet, some only got a few inches. Such is the nature of lake effect snow. The strong winds tonight and tomorrow should get more lake effect snow going.
A shout out to the nice folks that we met at Caldron Falls Bar last week. Nice to meet you!!
I can see the wind starting to pick up a little. I expect that will make a final total difficult. For now let’s call it 3″ plus.
Have a good Wednesday and thank you for visiting!!
