11-10-14 Monday Night

Greetings and welcome!

The first wave of the storm ended up hitting the heaviest to our north. I have about 3″ down here, and now the freezing drizzle has put about a 1/8″ lid on the snow. It looks like the heaviest stuff hit north of about Hwy 8, and closer to the MI border.

There is another wave of the storm coming for Tuesday. I am looking for another 3-6 or 4-8 out of that one, with a chance of a surprise bounce in totals. The QPF forecasts that I checked suggest an additional total of 2-4 up to 6-9. The storm path looks pretty favorable.

Behind the snow we are expecting some strong winds and a lot of cold air. Thursday’s high for Green Bay is only expected to be 23 and the low temp of 15. It moderates a little but by Monday it could be down to 23/10. With all of that wind and cold air the UP lake effect snow should be going pretty good. They got a lot of snow today from the storm, many areas saw 12+. A big lake effect snow on top of that could add up to a couple of feet.

I will be back tomorrow night with totals.

Have a good night and thank you for visiting!
