Greetings and welcome!
It is a cold day outside today and there is a light dusting of snow on the ground from flurries over the past day.
We have a snowstorm expected for most of WI today and tonight, but we will again be stuck watching from the cheap seats. We might get a few flurries out of it or maybe even light snow, but nothing is expected to accumulate in the NE 1/4 of WI.
We have had a cold few days since our last visit. There is no question that we are making ice on lakes and frost in the ground. That will serve us well later in the year.
We have three big events coming up tomorrow. In Crivitz, the NEW Low Buck Vintage Riders is having an antique snowmobile show and swap meet at Gateway Bar. In Middle Inlet Koch’s Performance is having an open house displaying his vintage Yamaha collection and hosting snowmobile racing legends for people to meet. In Wausaukee the Bear Point Sno-Cruisers is having a mock snowmobile incident showing the response to a snowmobile accident, and there will be other activities along with it. Please refer to the early week update for details.
I have been kicking around when I should start updating here on a daily basis. Right now the thought is somewhere between the 15th and Christmas week. Right now there is not a lot to report, and looking at the GFS, there isn’t much to get excited about over the next week or so. In an unusual twist, I had a good bit of work come in to me in November, and I am going to focus on that and getting the sleds ready. As soon as there is something to report I will jump into daily mode.
I am planning on trying to hit all three events tomorrow. Hopefully I will see a lot of you there.
Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting!

-Late Update- The mock snowmobile incident starts at 9am, the actual accident and response starts about 10.
