Monday December 21, 2015

Greetings and welcome!

Monday was a pretty neutral day. We didn’t get very cold, but it didn’t get very warm either. It was right at 32 both to and from work, and I saw about 36 for a high at lunchtime. The sun didn’t make it past the clouds so that wasn’t a factor.

About the biggest weather news was the freezing drizzle and light snow this morning. There wasn’t  lot of either, but it was enough to get the roads icy.

Tomorrow we are expecting more of the same, but with an extra degree or two.

Wednesday’s outlook is more interesting. We have a decent sized storm heading our way that will likely bring a soaking rain, followed by a snowy finish Thursday morning. We might get a white Christmas after all.

In about two hours we will cross the winter solstice. Working off of Iron Mountain data we have 8:39 of daylight, with sunrise at 7:30am and sunset at 4:10pm. Here are a couple of links about it. .. Link 1 link2

Have a good Tuesday and thank you for visiting!
