The snow brought about 3″ more last night. It should help a lot.
Rumor has it that there are a few riders around this weekend. I am sure that there would be a lot more if there was better snow. This is always a big weekend.
This week was a little challenging for me. With the 2″ of snow a lot of the trails looked great but there wasn’t much under them. I kept questioning myself because they looked so nice. I stuck to my guns because I knew how little snow that there was and what I rode Wednesday.
I felt a lot better when I saw Garrick’s comment/trail report yesterday and it said that, “The new snow has covered the bald spots so the trails look better than they really are.”. That was my take on it too. The snow was very deceptive.
Garrick is an advertiser here with Divorce Financial Solutions, and he hits the tip cup pretty hard too. Yesterday he left a pretty comprehensive hot off of the trail report for Townsend and the LMT as well, check it out. Thank you very much Garrick!
Today’s 3″ is a good start, I’ll still look forward to more.
I am planning on being at Rapids from 12-5 today stop by and get a picture or say hello if you are in the area.
