Greetings and welcome!
This week has been pretty demanding and I haven’t had as much time to spend on my updates as I want. That could happen again tomorrow morning looking at tonight’s lineup, so I am getting a head start.
When I got home the computer was on within two minutes and I was looking at the weather. I think it is going to be a good weekend. Ride ’em if you got ’em.
I looked at the forecast maps and came away with a few basic ideas.
One- It will be warm, but not catastrophic. Friday could go into the mid-30s, but it will be dropping shortly after. Saturday actually looks really comfortable with temps in the mid or upper 20s. Saturday night I’m looking for +10, maybe toward zero if it is clear skies.
Sunday looks warm after noon. I am thinking 35-40 degree range, maybe a little more with the sun. There is a pretty warm upper air level forecast (32-34F) and with March sun on a sunny day I add 8-10 for my guess at surface temps. There is a lot more to it, but the 850mb level temp outlook offers a little guidance.
The precip for Friday looks pretty minimal, whatever it may be. There is also a cold front coming with it, and it looks like it will be here by afternoon. We should be ok.
I think it is going to be a great weekend.
I have a couple of hours before bedtime and about three days worth of work to do inside. At that point I am of to the Blue Room to work on the RXL or headed out for a quick spin on the 500, or maybe even both.
One last thought, I had the Bear Point Sno- Cruiser’s Poker ru party this weekend. It isn’t until the 15th. You have an xtra week to get your cards stamped.
Have a good night and thank you for visiting!
