Greetings and welcome!
It was another cold one today. I saw a high of 8 on the bank clock in Wausaukee, after a low of about -20 this morning. The wind was blowing a little too.
Tomorrow we are expecting a little more reasonable temperatures after another cold start to the morning. The skies were clear at sunset, and with the cold air mass in place I’d be surprised if we didn’t get close to -20 again early morning. Later in the day we could see mid-teens and some snow. Our normal high and low for today is 31 & 10.
The snow tomorrow is expected to be of the clipper variety with 1-2″ expected ( and as always hoping for a pleasant surprise..). The best chances for snow are from about 10am Friday until about 2am Saturday morning.
Saturday looks like the best day in at least a week. We could see a high of 26. Sunday the hammer drops again, and we are looking at a high temp of around 5-10 degrees.
Looking at the longer term forecast I am going to strongly encourage you to ride the next two weekends. The weather will be good both Saturdays and the trails will be nice. I know that it is a 16 day forecast, but I don’t like what I am seeing for the weekend of the 7th. Think above freezing temperatures and the R word.
We have some good events coming up the next couple of weeks too. Here is Chris’ list..

5th Annual Turkey Bowling at the Riverview Town Hall, Noon.
March could easily bring more colder than normal weather and it could easily bring some big storms. Who knows, we could still be riding in early April like last year. I think that I am going with the bird in the hand and trying to fill up the next two weekends like they might be the last ones of the season.
Have a good night and thank you for visiting!
