Greetings and welcome!
Yesterday was a pretty good day to be me. The new trail camera came, and it is a beauty. The old one worked, but gobbled a set of batteries in 3-5 pictures. This one is an exponentially superior camera and goes all day on a set. I even took a picture of the Tinkerbeast after the first test run..
I got a bit of shop time in yesterday and the RXL is outside and trail ready. I have some clutch work to do on it, but it is a runner now, and it really runs nice. While I am waiting for the new clutch parts I put the clutch off of the old mod sled onto it. The engine spins a little too fast, but what a monster..
In the spirit of the cold weather it even got a new high windshield.
The test running up and down the driveway was pretty gravelly. It was hard to turn around and I heard a lot of rocks on the skis. I didn’t have any problem roosting up a streak of gravel when I grabbed a handful of throttle. We need more snow.
I am pretty happy about the weather forecast too. The Thursday night/Friday storm is still on track, and now could go 2-4 or 3-5. The Sunday storm fits the same description. Next Wednesday’s storm is back on track and within about 80 miles of perfect for heavy snow around here. There is even another smaller one behind that storm. If there was a BUY IT NOW button on the GFS model I’d be clicking it furiously.
For now we have to wait a little longer.
Have a good Wednesday and thank you for visiting!
