The optimistic outlook for the storm bringing snow was a bust. It did ice up the roads pretty good though. The ride to and from work brought glazed roads and drizzle. The slightest tap of the gas on the way to work brought wheel spin. It was a pretty intense 22 miles.
The drizzle kept up most of the day and we built up a decent glaze. It was followed by a dusting of snow at sunset as the storm moved off to the east. We will be seeing a couple of cold days between now and the weekend, so the ice that we got will still be there. The plowed roads were a weak spot in our conditions since the big thaw, and this storm will help that.
