Tuesday March 1, 2011

Greetings and welcome!

It is a warm sunny day today. Athelstane weather has 38 at the moment. We expected that. There is a little snow possible tonight as a clipper passing to our north brings in colder air for tomorrow. The snow won’t be much, but tomorrow will stay under 30.

There is still snow possible for Friday, but it looks like a 1-3. The GFS is bringing the Saturday storm farther north today, and getting us into the 1-3 or 2-4 band.  Maybe it will all move noth and we will get hit, more likely it will stay south.

The storm for next Tuesday looks good. That one would be big if it came home with a possible 9-12. The storm for the 17th looks big, but it might not be snow.

In events this weekend..

Saturday the Curve Inn is having the band Reset 2 Zero, described as playing modern or hard rock.

The only other event that I have listed on Chris’ event list is the 23rd Annual Gun & Knife Show at Crivitz Village Hall Saturday March 5th 8:00am – 2:00pm Sponsored by Crivitz Legion Post 413.

The little snowmobile from yesterday turned out to most likely be a TC175 Polaris. I will get pictures when I work on it later.

There are conditions to ride south of about 64, I am waiting for snow before I ride around Silver Cliff.

That is it for today. Have a good Tuesday and thank you for visiting!
