Greetings and welcome!
9:30pm-
A quick before bed update..
It is getting exciting watching the snow heading this way on radar. As I am about to hit the sack there is a small line of snow about 10 miles west of here, and the main line is still two counties away. When I was outside getting firewood there was some micro snow showing up in the headlamp beam. It was nothing that would show up on radar, but it was snow.
While I am thinking of it, I want to remind you that the Low Buck Vintage Riders Antique snowmobile Show and Swap Meet is just two weekends away. It is always the First Saturday in December at Gateway Bar in Crivitz.
As you can see I have been playing with the appearance of the site tonight. I bought a really advanced theme, and there is a tremendous amount to learn. It has very advanced abilities, and a big learning curve. For tonight this will have to be good enough, It is bed time.
When I wake up in the morning I expect that my world will have some white frosting.
Have a good night and thank you for visiting!

Morning Update
Winter is making an appearance this week. We have had some cold nights the past 3 nights, with the warmest being 16F, and the coldest (last night) made 10. That is a big leap from the mid-60s last Thursday and Friday.
The ground is frozen, probably not real deep, but it is frozen.
We had about 3/4″ of snow for opening morning Saturday, but the sun ate that in all but the most sheltered areas.
Now we are looking at some real accumulating snow. It should start tonight and snow through Wednesday. My guess is for 3-6″ with the accent on the low or middle of that range. At least some of it might stay, we are not expecting to get much into the 40s until next week.
Time to make the donuts..
